About Us:
Plain Peanuts was founded in 1988 by Bobby and Jean Salter. The business was established in Plains Georgia, home of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States and winner of The Nobel Peace Prize. Originally, it was housed in Billy Carter's Service Station but rapidly outgrew this facility. In 1989, Bobby & Jean purchased the old Carter's Warehouse office located on Main Street in Plains and renovated the building creating the present Plain Peanuts. Plain Peanuts uses local grown peanuts to make a variety of peanut candies right in our own warehouse, including six different flavors of peanut and pecan brittles. We also prepare fried peanuts, peanut butter fudge, peanut butter ice cream, chocolate covered peanut brittle, pecan patties and much more. We will ship our products to you anywhere in United States. Be sure and drop by when you visit Plains, Georgia and get a free sample of our famous Peanut Butter Ice Cream, Fried Peanuts or Homemade Candies. |
